I grew up in the midwest where natural beauty was a daily inspiration. Landscape and elements in nature continue to inspire my art today. As an art educator I enjoy sharing the joy of making art with others.

Watercolors enable me to convey natural phenomena and luminosity. I'm exploring other painting and drawing mediums often in order to keep my practice fresh.

I enjoy walking among beautiful open spaces such as parks and beaches taking in the sounds, shapes, colors, and light. Moments both grand and intimate find their way into my art.
